As most of you know, aerification is required for the long-term health of the turf grass. Proper pathways for water and air to enter the root system is imperative for proper health of the grass and optimal playing surfaces. Therefore, it is important to reduce compaction and the thatch layer via this aerification process. Core removal and then topdressing of the greens is required.
